Read the whole piece and count how many times it says "climate change." Roughly zero. This is framing by omission. You can report every fact about the heat — the temperatures, the warnings, the delayed fireworks — and never once name the reason the records keep falling. The words a newsroom refuses to use tell you as much as the ones it chooses. "Scorcher" is weather. "Another record summer" is a pattern. Guess which one makes the headline.
